[WARNING: If you haven’t seen ‘Sleepy Hollow‘s season finale stop reading now. Major plot reveals ahead!]
It’s been over a week since ‘Sleepy Hollow’ delivered its action-packed, two-hour season finale, complete with purgatory visits and shocking character reveals. (But that’s to be expected from a show centered around a Headless Horseman.) And while you may already be counting down the days until the start of Season 2, FOX’s supernatural drama is already dishing out some exciting casting news to tide you over until next fall.
Deadline reports that John Noble and Lyndie Greenwood — who both played important recurring roles in Season 1 as Henry Parrish and Jenny Mills, respectively — have been promoted to series regulars for the show’s second installment.
Of course, Noble’s upgrade doesn’t come as much of a surprise in light of his character’s recent reveal: that he’s actually Ichabod and Katrina’s son, Jeremy. There’s still plenty of story left to tell there (dude’s got some major abandonment issues) and we can’t wait to learn all about it.
Greenwood’s upgrade is also a welcome change-up, especially now that she and her sister Abbie are on much better terms. We suppose that means it’s safe to assume that Jenny survived the car crash. But then again, on this show nothing’s ever certain. For all we know she could end up chilling in purgatory with Abbie for a bit. (That doll house seemed to have plenty of room.) Family vacation, anyone?
Either way, welcome to the ‘Sleepy’ fold, you two!
‘Sleepy Hollow’ will debut its second season this fall.
